Bosque is the nations largest wildlife refuge in the United States. It is located about 8 miles south of Soccoro, New Mexico It is located along a major migratory path which results in large amounts of migrating birds a great place to stop or stay for the winter months. Most abundant are the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese.
